Job summary:
CARE International in the Caucasus serves socially and economically disempowered individuals and families so they can overcome poverty with dignity. CARE International in the Caucasus is currently seeking an experienced Photographer who will take professional, high quality photos for posters/leaflets/exhibitions and different publications. CARE works in the following regions of Georgia: Borjomi, Akhaltsikhe, Adigeni, Aspindza in Samtskhe-Javakheti region, Marneuli, Gardabani, Tetritskaro, Tsalka in Kvemo-Kartli and Ozurgeti in Guria region.
Job summary:
Specific activities:
** Shoot professional and high-quality digital photos (colored and B&W) that will be used in different CARE publications as well as in photo exhibitions and web-portals;
** Explore and propose the best themes which will show the main developments of CARE's work;
** Ensure the maintenance of high quality and modern standards of photo shooting, editing and balance in the photos;
** Provide his/her photo equipment which comply with the high standards of professional photography;
** Provide high quality photo materials in electronic format.
Preliminary evaluation schedule: The duration of the assignment will be 7 days. The assignment will be carried out mainly in the fields. The preliminary schedule is 3 days in Samtskhe-Javakheti, 3 days in Kvemo-Kartli, 1 day in Guria.
Qualifications and key competencies:
Required:
** Degree or certificate in relevant field (e.g. Photography, Journalism, Film Directory)
** Technical expertise (Previous experience in professional photography)
** Creativity
** Flexibility.
Work conditions: While fulfilling her/his responsibilities, the candidate will closely co-operate with and be supported by CARE Caucasus staff. Logistics and transportation issues for field visits will be arranged by CARE.
